VLATKO GALEVSKI

President of The Film Critics Jury

From 1988 to 1993 Vlatko Galevski works as editor in chief of video releases of Macedonia Film Skopje. From 1993 to 1988 he is film program director in A1 TV and author of the shows “Cinema” and “Cinemania”.

Among the more important things in his career, he appears as producer, director of photography and co-author of music for “Maklabas” (1998), directed by Aleksandar Stankovski. He also appears as an actor in “The Summit of the Shamans”, also directed by Aleksandar Stankovski. He is an author of two books, “Facerija” (2010) and “Ispovedni Finesi” (2015).

Has written more than 600 film reviews in both Macedonian and foreign magazines, such as Ekran, Za Makedonckite raboti, Forum, Fokus, Kinopis, Sarajevske sveske, etc.

Toni Cifrovski (1968, Skopje) is a longtime journalist and presenter at the Macedonian Radio-Television, currently editor of the Cultural Program of the Macedonian Radio-Radio Skopje. He worked as a culture correspondent for Radio Deutsche Welle (1996-2006), he edited and hosted the show “Neka bide film” on MRT, and for several years he was also publishing film reviews in the daily newspaper “Dnevnik”. He is the author of three books on film, “Kineenje 1-3”. He is a member of the International Federation of Film Critics – FIPRESCI. He has also collaborated with the editorial board of the magazine for history, theory and culture on film, “Kinopis”, published by the Cinematheque of North Macedonia.

In 2015, he received the “Script Present” award for continuing critical engagement and contribution to film art, awarded by the “Macedonia Present” foundation.

In July 2006, he was nominated for the prestigious “PRIX EUROPA” award for the radio documentary “Simon Trpceski – from the small room to the big world stages”.

STOJAN SINADINOV

Film Critics Jury

Stojan Sinadinov (1965, Skopje), graduated General and Comparative Literature at the University “St. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje. His engagement in the areas of film criticism and film history dates back to the late 1980s. So far, he has published articles in about a dozen daily newspapers, weekly and monthly magazines, as well as specialized film magazines and editions in North Macedonia and the region.

He has been also reporting from film festivals in Montreal (Canada), Berlin (Germany), Thessaloniki (Greece), Belgrade (Serbia).
