A five-piece rock/alternative band from Pazardzhik, Bulgaria, active since 2019. Their music blends raw sound, personal lyrics, and a stage presence that swings between cathartic and comical. Their original music lives on the edge between alternative rock, post-punk, and strange metaphysical optimism.
Indie rock/bedroom pop band from Bulgaria. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Petar Todorov, guitarist Kaloyan Stoyanov, bassist Yordan Chipev and drummer Blagovest Zahariev. The members gather in the fall of 2021 and work on a repertoire with which they start playing in Sofia’s clubs. They mainly perform original songs.
Music band formed in 2022. Fusing punk, alternative rock, and grunge, they explore the absurdities of everyday life, inspired by the work of Daniil Kharms, after whose play the band is named. Their songs are both aggressive and dynamic, with gentle transitions that erupt into powerful, loud riffs you can easily lose yourself in.
This Belgrade-based four-piece was born out of a long-standing friendship and a shared love of music. Matija (drums), Relja (bass, vocals), Damjan (guitar, vocals), and Luka (guitar & vocals) have all played in different projects over the years, switching instruments, roles, and sounds until locking into this explosive formation. The music they make blends many influences, but at its core is a raw and emo post-hardcore sound that hits hard and stays with you.
Alternative rock/post-punk trio from Sabac, consisting of Ivan (guitar, vocals), Mario (bass), and Zivorad (drums). They describe their music as guitar-driven, marked by Ivan’s distinctive voice, while the rhythm section pulls the narrative in its own direction, often finding spontaneous solutions in funk or reggae. The melody breaks through even the densest cacophony, and a sense of warmth flows through all their songs.
High-energy rock duo, formed in Novi Sad (Serbia) by Nikolette (drums) and Nemanja (guitar, vocals). The band’s sound is minimalistic yet expressive, with the philosophy “less is more”. They avoid excessive effects or enhancements, relying on a standard drum set and a single guitar with just a few pedals and amplifiers. The main goal is to explore themes that are often difficult for people to express.
Bosnian-Herzegovinian musician Din Alic, better known as Svire, recently released his EP “Iskra”, featuring four songs. He says that his music is crafted in his bedroom. While alt-pop, indie pop, and bedroom pop have long dominated global streaming charts, they still represent something fresh and different on the local scene. These genres particularly resonate with younger listeners, especially Generation Z, who appreciate their honesty, emotion, and artistry created “in the bedroom”, yet sounding like it belongs on world stages. This approach and aesthetic define Svire’s work, marking him as part of a new generation of artists who create entirely by their own rules.
