Miroslav Momchilovic

Serbian screenwriter and director, born in Belgrade in 1969. He graduated in dramaturgy from the Belgrade Faculty of Drama Arts (FDU). He is the author of two realized theatre plays, „Belgrade on its knees” and „Life from the Beginning”. He wrote the screenplay for the film “When I Grow up I Will Be a Kangaroo”, which was one of the audience’s favorites at Sofia Film Fest 2005 and won the Best film award at Motovun. He is the writer and director of the film “Seven and a Half”, which had a rich festival life both in Serbia and abroad: Sarajevo Film Festival, Raindance Film Festival, Thessaloniki International Film market among others. His film “Wait for Me and I Will Not Come” won the Best Director award at Sofia IFF in 2010.
